Teachers want their students to do the work they’re given. When one student shows another student their homework, the second student may copy what the first student did. So that’s not right! But you want to help your classmates as well. Also, you should be praised for doing that. You could tell them that you don’t want to help people cheat, so you won’t let them see your homework. But you’ll be happy to explain things to them or answer their questions.
