Probability is a branch of math that uses numbers to show how likely it is that something will happen or that a statement is true. The chance that something will happen is a number between 0 to 1, where 0 is supposed as it will never happen and 1 is that it will happen for sure. Write the odds of each event using symbols like P in italics (X 5).
(a) At least four correct answers on a 15-question quiz (where X is the number of right answers).
(b) Out of every 25 emails, less than 5 are “phishing” emails (where X is the number of “phishing” emails).
